BREAKING NEWS

Ford admitted that his car for his win in the first race of the season was underweight. The official ruling to come for the czar is that that Ford is allowed to keep his points from the race however, HIS WIN WILL BE DISALLOW. Repeat, Ford now has 0 wins in GASCAR.

Suzuka East

GASCAR returns again from another extended break and now hopes to follow a more regular schedule. The race was the first short track race of the season at Suzuka East. The race started exciting enough. After, one lap Viking had a solid lead and Ford had run into the wall. Ford got his first pit stop outta the way earlier after the wreck. On lap 9, Mini had a single car rollover bringing out the automatic caution and ducked into the pits under caution. Going back under green, Viking continued to lead with Top and Roadie following close behind. Green flag pits began around lap 30 when Viking dove into pit lane at the last second with Top swiping the wall in his attempt to follow. After the pit stops cycled through, Ford with his early stop held a commanding lead followed by Viking, Roadie, and Top. Proof fed up his over steering Porsche broke off his front splitter in an attempt to create some understeer. As the laps closed, Fords lead began to shrink in his attempt to win his first GASCAR race. Ford then had a issue with Bad and was slowed up more than once. Viking then went wide going into Turn 1 and gave up second allowing Top be the lead chaser of Ford. Going into Turn 2 Top then went wide giving back second to Viking, just for Viking to give it back again in Turn 1 of the next lap. With 2 laps to go Top took the lead from Ford in a surprisingly uneventful pass and kept the lead for the remainder of the race and won his second race in a row at Suzuka and taking a commanding lead in the points standings.
