GASCAR: How does it feel to win the GASCAR Championship
DJ: It's like eating the tastiest cheeseburger in the world...with fries...oh yeah.

GASCAR: Ford gave you a very good fight, how does it feel to beat him?
DJ: Well, it feels all right all of the Dunkin Donut team worked real hard and it feels good, Ford was a good opponent.

GASCAR: Ok, what do you really think about Ford?
DJ: Ahhh, hmmmmm, What do I think about Ford?... it was a good time.

GASCAR: Have you used the line "I'm a GASCAR Champion" to pick up girls yet?
DJ: I have not yet, but I'm gonna do I the next time I go to get a cheeseburger.

GASCAR: Seeing how you have now reaching the pinnacle of gaming excellence, and likely life, what do you plan on doing now?
DJ: I'm gonna shake up a bottle of root beer and spray it all over everything, then i'm gonna eat 3 cheeseburgers and continue to celebrate.

GASCAR: And finally, who would you rather leave your girlfriend with, Kobe or Ben Roethlisberger?
DJ: Ahhhhhhhhh....ummmmmmmmm...With the great words of the three time champion Top Fuel, I say Kobe Bryant.

Tsukuba and Season Finale

Another season has wrapped and this time with a new champion. DJ was able to fend off Ford to claim his first ever GASCAR Championship and deny Ford his 3rd.

DJ snuck in on the last lap to steal the pole, the point, and make Ford's championship hopes that much more dim. The race started simple enough with Viking off to another early lead. Ford had to work to get around him as Top and DJ closed the gap. Eventually, the Ford and DJ began to separate from the rest of the pack. After a number of attempts, DJ was finally able to work around Ford and never looked back. Ford held onto to second after fending off Viking. Top's attempt to win put him in 4th as Mini followed him in 5th. The rest were as follows:

5th - Mini
6th - Chriss
7th - Bad
8th - Proof


And since we crowned a champion this week, that would mean we've also closed another successful GASCAR season. Thanks to everyone who competed, do some recruiting, and we'll see you next year.

Team Rules

• Find a teammate if possible
• Teammate will drive same car
• Each team can call 'dibs' on one car
• 'Dibs' grants sole ownership of that car to the team that said it first
• Each driver is allowed 1 (one) car change throughout the season
• 4 point penalty for every car change after that
